It almost seems like a joke that of all the people Sri Nityananda has to be involved in a controversy of this nature.........
There has been many allegations of fraud against swami nityananda previously as is common for all men with fame and following but none of this nature and magnitude.
Recently in SUN NEWS a video had been released featuring Swami Nithyanandha in which Nityananda was having a secret sexual affair with a south Indian actress.
All the devotees are deeply shaken and there is chaos everywhere......
Only thing that can be said with certainity is that this scandal has deeply shaken the mission of Swamiji directly to its roots....
The video definitely shows a man who is swamiji or a hollywood-movie-type clone of him....What is the truth cannot be ascertained right now!!!
Swamiji has said that the video is a morphed one and blames one of his inmates Premananda alias Lenin Karuppan, for the morphing of his face with the idea of defaming him. It is said that Swamiji tried to stop the airing of the video footage but a civil court did not grant any stay.
The petition has been posted to March 8 for further hearing.

All you need to do is learn a few vedic mantras, wear an orange color dress, wear a few malas and garlands, grow long hair and sit under a tree. Though an initial struggle like every other industry as a fresher, soon you will start having foolish people starting to gather, offer food, shelter, money. All you need to do from morning to evening is say something that's inspirational, do a few exercises and call it some thing...but the only problem is that in this profession, you will have to have your sexual flings and romps in secrecy without anyone knowing it. What a nice troublefree life if all goes well.

To shatter the sex related belief system i.e "samskaras" related to "muladhara chakra" in the society, especially in tamil society, he took this extreme step of defaming himself. watch the video again carefully, he was totally passive, only the women advancing in the act, no ordinary man will behave so indifferently in that context. it's a drama. now only real seekers going to sustain this shock, weaker leaves will wither away. mission is not for wishy-washy deciples and it became more and more focused. March 7, 2010 at 10:16 PMIf the story and video about this Swami is true, I, who has been searching the Truth for the last fifty years, find no big problem with his having some type of relationship with some women. After all he is a man, and the Creator has given him the sex desires.
One should not be considered a wise person unless one understands the part that sexual attraction and sexual interaction plays in this creation. Sex is the greatest force in this universe. Without sexuality there will be no creation. For this creation to go on, there must be sexual relationship between a male and female of all species.
Perhaps the Indian people are too much obcessed with sexual matters. In the Western world, this is not a big thing. A real wise person would not see wrong in a man doing a thing that nature has created. A person can have high or low sex desires. A person who indulges in sexual relations with many different partners, still can be a smart person – a great sportsman, a great singer, a great actor, a great scientist, and yes, a great philosopher and a great (Swami) holy man.
If this Swami did not preach celebacy for his disciples, if he did not preach that sex is bad and an evil, then people should have understanding about his action. He is after-all in his early thirties, a man, it is no sin to have sex at that age, (in the modern times in the Western world).
I have met this Swami and heard him speak. I was very much impressed by his talk. Will having sex take away all his knowledge, no. Definitely not.
People, if you are seeking real truth, a real God experience, then you can not ignore the power of sex, that is the only source of creation. Take sex out of life, this creation comes to an end.
If you value your life, then you must know you came into this world because your parents had sexual inter-course.
My opinion is that only ignorant, unwise and unenlightened people will not understand the role of sex in creation.
This Swami was doing what nature has made. So please do not be hard on him.
Perhaps some of you must have read a story in the Bible. People brought to Jesus a woman who was caught in prostitution. People wanted to have her stoned to death. Jesus asked those surrounded, ‘those of you who is without sin, cast the first stone.’ All people left, one by one.
I was born in India in a Hindu family. So I understand the Indian culture and understand why people are mad at this swami.
Forgive him, and live your life. Perhaps he would move to America where sex is not such a big problem. Better still he would get married and have a ready sexual partner for life.
Know one more thing, knowledge and wisdom of a person does not disappear by having sexual relationship. Value this Swami for his knowledge and wisdom.
Try to find peace in your life, that is the only source that would open you to all spiritual knowledge.

If 100 people were there, he would be making 25 grand in 3 days (which is 12.5 lacs)... This is just in one of the cities. Why do a sami need this much money, does he need it for travel? or food? arent we people already taking care of all those things for him?

I have a question - did this Swami fondle that Tamil actresss or not. Atleast the video seems pretty genuine. It is not clear to me wether the Swami is admitting or denying this. All he is saying is "I haven't done anything illegal". We don't need the Swami to tell us wether it is illegal or not. That is for us to decide. Can the Swami give a clear "yes or no" answer?

One of the yoginis i know in India,who is not so popular is,Matha Manikeshwari,in yanagundi,150kms from Hyderabad.There could be many such real yoginis/yogis,who are not in limelight.

Yah. This man actually molested me, no joke. He was touring around the world, offering his 'healing touch'. I was in New Zealand, and I was very sick, needing true healing. He took advantage of my naivete in believing he only had a pure intention. If anyone has ever been molested you know it is confusing when someone you trust breaks it, and it is also messed up because you even start to like it (if it is sexual esp). But he violated me, that's for sure. Then he invited me to tour with him as his tantra partner. I was so sick about it, I was in shock. This is no joke, and I am amazed myself, this is the first time since it happened I actually figured out who it was. I knew he was very famous, but I had no idea how famous. It was upsetting.
